Opioid Addiction and its Impact Discussion at Housatonic Community College
Opioid addiction, especially from opioids in prescribed pain relievers has soared in the U.S. reaching over 2.1 million persons according to recent data. On Thursday, Nov. 17, from noon to 2 p.m. in the HCC Beacon Hall Events Center, a distinguished panel will discuss the past, present, and future impact of opioid use.

Registration Now Open for Minds in Motion Enrichment Event at Housatonic Community College
The Connecticut Association for the Gifted(CAG) and the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center at Housatonic Community College (HCC) are partnering to host the popular Minds In Motion™ workshop series. The event will be held at HCC on Saturday, December 3 from 12-4pm.
The Housatonic Community College fall 2016 Women of Wisdom Series continues on Monday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. with a lecture by HCC Assistant Professor of English Susan Monroe on Fannie Jackson Coppin, an early crusader for education.
