Think of an octopus – one central mass with eight arms that think and act independently; its movements a brilliantly choreographed dance. When presented with a challenge, the dance doesn’t falter; the movements merely adjust. That scenario depicts the operations of the team that created the spring 2021 issue of Horizons magazine.
The archive of Housatonic Community College (HCC) is now keeping company alongside Wesleyan University, Yale, UCONN, and other prestigious Connecticut colleges in Connecticut’s Archive Online (CAO).
With community college students disproportionately impacted by the pandemic, the decision to participate in Fairfield’s County Giving Day has never been more important for the Housatonic Community College Foundation. The organization, which supports low-income Housatonic Community College (HCC) students in need, will join the collective giving event taking place on Thursday, February 25th.

Housatonic Community College (HCC) is pleased to announce a new collaboration with The Child & Family Guidance Center (CFGC). With social distancing and a virtual audience, an agreement was signed yesterday at the college formalizing the partnership that will facilitate educational opportunities for at-risk youth and their families.
Housatonic Community College (HCC) is easing the burden of textbook costs for low-income students thanks to a grant from The Scripps Family Fund for Education and the Arts (SFFEA) for the creation of a new Textbook Lending Library.

A new, dynamic interlacing sculpture by South Korean artist, Jongil Ma floats above the entrance to the Burt Chernow Galleries. The major piece, presented by the Housatonic Museum of Art, is an intricate arrangement of stained wood, offering a lesson in balance and flow.
