Like John said, it's too bad he didn't get to see his retirement dreams materialize. He was a very deserving, kind, compassionate, and fun-loving guy. It was nice to have him around. He'll be sorely missed.

This is sad. I found officer Strobel to be a fine professional and a supportive member of HCC community for faculty and students. May I send the warmest condolences to Richard's family and friends.

Spoke with Rich in June just before I retired and he told me about all the plans he had after his planned retirement in 2 more years....sorry he was unable to see his dreams materialize...Rich was a one of the nice guys and will not just be a great loss to his family and friends but also to the Housatonic Community and students.
