The 12th Annual Business Expo & Multicultural Marketplace

Held At HCC on Friday, March 6th.

This exciting one-stop event provided an opportunity for small, minority and women-owned businesses to introduce their products and services while networking with other entrepreneurs. 

At the Expo visitors were able to participate in a variety of workshops that included: How to

Do Business with the City of Bridgeport, the State of Connecticut and the Federal Government, and Cutting Edge Marketing Strategies That Get You Noticed and Access to Capital. Also, there was an opportunity for attendees to receive free health education and wellness information and screenings. 

State Senator Edwin A. Gomes, who was returned to the State Senate in a special election in February, was among the speakers. Gomes said he looks forward to working with city officials on initiatives that will benefit the city.
