Faculty Art Show On Display at UB 10/23- 1/25

BRIDGEPORT – The Housatonic Community College and (the University of Bridgeport’s) Shintaro Akatsu School of Design Faculty Exhibition 2014 will showcase a wide variety of work by full- and part-time faculty members from HCC and UB.

The exhibit features graphic design, painting, photos, sculpture, video art, drawing, digital arts, typography, installation, and illustration. The exhibit will be on display Oct. 23 to Jan. 25 in the University of Bridgeport’s Schelfhaudt Gallery, 84 Iranistan Avenue, Bridgeport.

Exhibitors include Juan Andreiu, Tom Brenner, Matthew Capezzuto, Christina Ciacci, John Favret, Karl Heine, Nick Heal, John Kandalaft, Peter Konsterlie, Emily Larned, Sarah Lasley, Ernest Lopez, Rick McCollum, Gus Moran, Gary Munch, Carmine Picarello, Andy Pinto, Andrew Prayzner, Pete Rembetsy, Christian Ruggiero, Suzan Shutan, Tom Scippa, Maggie Sullivan, Karen Wheeler, Lydia Viscardi and Natalie Westbrook.
The opening reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Schelfhaudt Gallery Oct. 23, 5:30-7:30 p.m. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, 12 to 4 p.m.
