Interested in a career in media and/or communications? The Donofrio Public Media Scholarship is available to second year, full-time CSCU community college students who are studying in the field of communication, journalism, broadcasting, digital arts, production or marketing.

The Donofrio Public Media Scholarship provides financial resources that can help pay for tuition, fees, books, transportation, child care or equipment for both the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters.

In addition, the program designates a CT public internship for a student at a CSCU community college to supplement their academic experience with a paid internship with a public media organization. The internship assignment will be at Connecticut Public corporate offices at Hartford, or at Gateway Community College in New Haven. There is a separate internship application process and is available to students within the community college system. Donofrio Scholarship applicants and awardee(s) are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Award: Up to $4,000 annually.

Educational Stipend: Up to $2,000 annually.
