Housatonic's Black Student Union held a Cafe Night

HCC's Black Student Union held a Cafe Night with the theme Women of Color on April 2nd. The event was used to recruit new members and inform the Greater Bridgeport community about its activities. Current BSU President, King Broadnax, and past presidents Jamar Brown and Shakerra Collier, were on hand to promote student involvement in projects such as the Mary E. Eady Book Award Fund. The student group has raised over two thousand dollars to benefit fellow Housatonic students.
