Students who register in August for the Humanities 119 trip, which is part of the short-term study abroad course that will visit Spain and Portugal, will receive a special $150 discount.

The three-credit course will explore Iberian cultures and society while incorporating historical tours and coursework. The nine-day trip includes flight, food, hotel, transportation, admission to attractions and tour guides among other necessities. Approximate travel cost is $3150.

Highlights of the trip include a guided tour of Lisbon, including the Tower of Belém and the Jerónimos Monastery. Students will also visit Seville where they will see the Seville Cathedral and tour with an expert local guide. From there a train will take students to Madrid to continue visiting historical and culturally-important landmarks and destinations.
