Manufacturing Open House.on August 9th

Interim CEO Dr. Manuel Gomez with students on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the Manufacturing Open House. This event was hosted by the Housatonic campus in partnership with Platt Technical High School and ApprenticeshipWorks/The WorkPlace.

The Workforce Development & Continuing Education division at Housatonic offers short-term specialized programs in CNC Level 1, 2, & 3, Solidworks 1 & 2, and CMM 1 & 2. The classes are held in the evenings for adult learners utilizing the Platt Technical HS facility. The Open House provided an opportunity for interested individuals to speak with staff and instructors about the programs and tour the state-of-art manufacturing shop. Classes start the week of August 28th.
