Laurie Noe Goes to Peru

As a Fulbright Senior Specialist to work at the Pontifical Universidad Catolica of Peru (PUCP) in Lima. There she worked with early childhood education faculty to review the PUCP curriculum and propose ways to strengthen it.

Laurie also presented workshops and conferences for community early care and education providers as well as for faculty and students. The topics of these presentations ranged from Importance of Play to The Use of Multicultural Literature and Recognizing Quality Early Care and Education Programs.

Laurie is pleased to have made another connection to an early childhood community that can help the HCC ECIE understand the global issues in this field and to have international contacts who can help us see child these many issues from a variety of perspectives. The HCC ECIE program previously connected to an early childhood community in South Africa.
