The American Manufacturing Hall of Fame announced their 2015 class of inductees in a press event at Housatonic Community College on Friday, July 17th. Housatonic Community College Faculty & Staff Offered A Number Of Inititatives To Help Students De-Stress During Exams Housatonic Community College offered students techniques for keeping calm and refreshed while preparing for finals. From May 11 - May 14, the college had a variety of stress relief and calming activities and techniques to help students get through finals. Veronica Nance-White, Angel Pol-Diaz and Noelis Claudio of Norwalk joined Sharon Campbell, Michealle Hunter Caldwell, Denise Kilic, Madeline Kinchen, Melissa Rivera, Natasha Summers, and Tayreesha Martin of Bridgeport; Nora Isselee of Milford; Lisa Coker of Stamford; and Earlee Green, Sasha Jean-Baptiste, and Jackie McKoy of Stratford in graduating from the course. John Ratzenberger Introduces Community Center Students to Advanced Manufacturing

During the two-part launch of the American Manufacturing Hall of Fame on July 15, noted actor and manufacturing advocate John Ratzenberger met with Community Center Summer Program students from the Bridgeport-based McGivney and Cardinal Sheehan Community Centers to introduce them to Advanced Manufacturing techniques. He also showed them possibilities in a career in manufacturing.
