New Exhibit in Beacon Hall: Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame!
I want to announce the arrival of a fantastic exhibit I’m hosting at Beacon Hall as part of my 2015 Honors Seminar Connecticut Uncovered. Sponsored by the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame, the exhibit consists of 40 portraits of educators, businesswomen, social leaders and other trailblazing women who have improved life in our state over the past couple hundred years. I spent all day Friday hanging the portraits, with the expert help and guidance of Prof. Andy Pinto, and I now have a newfound appreciation for museum and gallery workers everywhere!
