Four new Connecticut companies to be inducted into The American Manufacturing Hall of Fame
The American Manufacturing Hall of Fame(AMHoF) is pleased to announce that four Connecticut companies will be inducted at the Fifth Annual Induction Ceremony on Tuesday, October 9th at the Trumbull Marriot.

Bringing in the Bystander comes to HCC
Brining in the Bystander, a sexual and relationship violence prevention workshop will be held Monday, April 30 from 2-2:30 p.m. in BH-317 and Tuesday, May 1, 11-12:20 p.m. in LH L109. The workshop, which is co-sponsored by the Academic Advising and Student Success Activities offices, aims to equip students with skills necessary to diffuse volatile situations in relationships.

Student wins Elevator Pitch Contest for vegan take-out
Bubba’s Vegan Kitchen, a take-out and catering company created by HCC student Keysha Tingeling, won first place in the University of Bridgeport’s annual Elevator Pitch Competition last week.

Student Turns Novella into Production
What first started as a novella about two young couples caught up in tragedy and denial has turned into a full-on performance in HCC student Yasmina Saint-Jean’s For What It’s Worth, which debuted at HCC last week.
