The 2017Connecticut Governor's Tourism Partners Award celebrates Housatonic Museum of Art (HMA) along with 17 other Connecticut Art Trail members. The Housatonic Museum of Art is located at Housatonic Community College. HMA Director Robbin Zella is justifiably elated by the honor.

The other Connecticut Art Trail members include Bruce Museum, Fairfield University Art Museum, Bush-Holley House, Weir Farm National Historic Site, New Britain Museum of American Art, Yale Center for British Art, Yale University Art Gallery, Lyman Allyn Art Museum, The Slater Memorial Museum, Ireland's Great Hunger Museum, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Hill-Stead Museum, The Art Gallery, University of Saint Joseph, William Benton Museum of Art, Florence Griswold Museum, and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking.

For more than 20 years, Connecticut Art Trail members have worked to promote Connecticut’s rich cultural history and to attract visitors to the state. The Connecticut Art Trail includes 18 world-class museums and historic sites that collaboratively market their offerings to support tourism, culture, art and education.
