Eighth Annual Criminal Justice and Public Safety INFORMATIONAL Career Fair

By

The Criminal Justice Department of Housatonic Community College would like to invite you to participate as a vendor at our 8th Annual Career Fair to be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Each year, more than 25 agencies have made our yearly event an outstanding success. Each year First Responder and Disaster Response Teams including Federal, Local and State law enforcement agencies, fire departments, Homeland Security, EMS, and many others who provide the essential law enforcement, public safety services, and assistance needed in times of disaster and other emergencies.

We are extending an invitation to display information about your agency and to answer questions about job requirements, activities, job availability, internship opportunities, and educational requirements. As always, you are welcome to recruit.

We are also looking for agencies who would be willing to set up a display of specialized equipment that is used in emergency situations such as for Bomb Squads, SCUBA, hazardous materials, K-9, etc.

Part of Housatonic Community College’s mission is to engage students and community members to become active and responsible leaders in the community. Our students are from the Fairfield and New Haven counties, and they want to give back to their communities through education.

If you are interested in participating in the annual event, please contact Professor Joanne Anzenberger at or 203-332-5212, and provide the following information:

  • How many tables are needed?
  • Are outlets needed for displays?
  • Number of attendees?
